For Fillies and Mares Three Years Old and Upward

August 5, 2023

1 Karloffs Monster (TwinTowersRacing)

BC Distaff winner followed that win up with a victory in the HOU Ladies Classic and a second in the Azeri. Struggled in her last two starts. Can she get back on track here?

2 Terra Command (Threshold)

Winner of the Desert Stormer in March. Third two back in the Royal North. Couldn’t hit the board last out in the Great Lady M. Another one looking to get back on track here.

3 Wavy Girl (Saratoga Stud)

Except for a respectable third in the Summertime Oaks, this three-year-old filly would have a five-race win streak. Last out she won the IA Oaks by two lengths and came within a whisker of the track record. Looks strong coming into this race.
4 Present Tense (Mb Stables)

Won the DEL Handicap last out and set a new track record for the 1 3/16 mile at DEL. If she runs back to that form, she will be tough to beat.

5 El Salvador (Iolaus Racing)

Nice second place performance in the Fleur De Lis Handicap at CD on off-going last out. Not as experienced at graded level as some in this field, but she could get a piece of the purse.

6 Pink Attack (The Sidley Stud)

Wire-to-wire winner of the Belle Mahone last out. Does her best running up front and could still be there at the finish line.

7 C And C (Night Rider Stables)

This six-year-old mare makes her graded debut here off of a win in the $100.000 Ballad last out. Has her work cut out for her in this field.
