Empire state bred sophomore fillies will be the flavor of the day, and we look at the field for The May, a flat mile test over the main track here at AQU. I’m headed to the outside posts for my selections in this one, and let’s put Lita in the top spot to get the job done. She broke maiden at first asking, up at FL, and just missed in a pair of NY-bred stakes, last out over this track in the Franklin Square. It may be time to get the win. On the far outside, Osare has looked good in every start, and got the maiden win at FG last out. She’s been close in a couple of starts over this track, so she should fit well. Between those two, Dime Type is another that should be in the middle of things when they turn for home… she won last out over this track, breaking her maiden vs. NY-Breds… she’s another that should keep getting better.
