1st Pennies, trained by Arindel

A huge win for this filly here as it is not only her first graded stakes win it is also her trainers first ever graded stakes win. She pretty much wire to wire in this race and she showed some toughness by grinding it out down the lane. She ran the race in 1:36.71 and earned $60.000 for the win.

2nd Techno Cheryl, trained by The Sidley Stud

Well this filly took it to the winner the whole way and they battled it out the entire way. This filly was unfortunate to not win as she ran a winning race pretty much. She was right there going head to head with the winner but she just did not have enough to get the best of her. Very good second place finish from her though.

3rd Speedy Ginger, The Sidley Stud

Not a terrible run from this filly for her first start against graded stakes company in a couple months. She was last early and the pace was way too slow for her too have any chance of closing in to. She was only beaten by four lengths when it was all said and done. She did not run a bad race at all and she is now graded stakes placed. 

4th Mayenne, trained by On The Map Racing

And rounding out the finish was this filly here as she did not run that good. She was never really close at all and she could never pick it up enough. She was just never really into the race and she just never had a chance and she ran a pretty much bad fourth. At least she picked up a couple dollars.

Summary

Well even though it was a four horse field the top two battled it out the entire way. Since the gate opened they both went towards the lead and they both took it to each other and they battled it out the entire way down the lane also. Pennies got the better of the battle though. Congratulations to Pennies and Arindel.
