Red Broom Wins The Endeavour BC

The Endeavour BC – GIII
TAM Race 6 1 1/16M – Turf
Purse $175.000
Four Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares

1st Red Broom, trained by John Henry

Well I was not expecting there be an upset but there was and it did come from the horse who I thought had the best chance of upsetting Quiver Pond. This filly ran a very good race to win and how she went wire to wire is probably the most impressive thing about it. She an the race in 1:39.80 and she earned $105.000 for the win.

2nd Heckle Me Pink, trained by Nakamura Stables

This filly here also ran a very good race and she also was up near the pace early on as she sat right behind the leader the whole way. Speed obviously held very good in this race because these top two runners were both first and second the whole way and finished in the top two.

3rd Quiver Pond, trained by Estero Farms

Well the champion filly right here didn’t win but she gave it her all and only ended up getting beat by a length in the end. She tried to close from last and I think that didn’t help because of the way the race shook out the two speed horses both hung on to finish one-two. She still ran a valiant race.

4th Destination Ny, trained by Maxmillion Farm

Although I didn’t give her much of a chance she still ran really good to close from far. Back she dropped to last midway through the race and came with a rally to only get beat by two lengths. She didn’t run a bad race at all and she actually ran pretty good race. She closed pretty good for sure.

Summary

Well I think it was probabl pretty surprising to everyone that Quiver Pond got beat but the winner Red Broom ran a very good race and won very impressively by going wire to wire. She was very impressive and I think that this win will put her near the top of the division. Congratulations to Red Broom and John Henry.
