Saturday Khartoum storms home in the Bold Ruler

The Bold Ruler Handicap – Grade III
7 Furlongs Dirt Stake Purse $200.00 Open 3 Year Olds And Up.

1st   Saturday Khartoum  Rousee                   Saez L

One thing is for sure this horse was the best horse in the race and his job was made easier by a peach of a ride from L Saez who got it dead right whilst his rival jockies were playing jenga. The result never really looked in doubt as this four year old gained his fourth win of the season and his second graded stakes.

2nd   Palestinian               Nakamura Stables  Castellano J J

Won the race for second as more or less every other runner seemed worry more about fanning across the track than actually going after the winner. He hasnt had his best season but this was a fair effort suggesting he still has something left to give as he gets to the veteran stage.

3rd   Decisive Moon               John Henry                Cohen D

He did a great job for a three year old against older horses in a handicap but he still seems to be struggling to find his ideal trip. When he settles on that he will get his fair share of good wins.

4th   Moving Cloud                RNP Stables                Rosario J

Ran far better than a $5 auction buy and even at the ripe old age of six looks capable of winning a  similar race before he retires.
