1st Laffin Canadian, Trained by Serenity Stables
The eighty dollars that Serenity Stables spent on this maiden looked very well spent as the son of Laffin Ghost just lasted home to win by a quarter length. Breaking fast she held an uncontested lead and then dug deep to keep on gamely down the stretch. This was a good win and proves once again that the best form doesn’t necessarily add up to winning at HRP.
2nd Astral Projection, trained by Oliver Klozov
The odds on favourite after winning two from two he was certainly close enough in stalking the leader to win but he could never quite claw him back. This wasn’t a bad effort though and he clearly has a decent future.
3rd Atlas Seven, trained by Team 7 Illusions
Another maiden that ran pretty well running on well from the back to be beaten just a length. Looks nailed on afor a maiden win next time.
4th Shatter, trained by Double J Stables
Struggled again to get the five and a half furlongs fading off the stalk.
