Seven Is Lucky is Also a Wise Winner in Wise Dan at CD

                                               Wise Dan- Grade II
1 1/16 Miles Turf Graded Stake Purse $500.00 Four-Year-Olds And Upward. At CD

1st      Seven Is Lucky                             Mb Stables             7-1 (HRP) 9-5 (SRF)

It’s hard to believe that a horse that I gave the odds of 9-5 and picked to win would go off at 7-1, but that’s exactly what Seven Is Lucky did. Thanks for the dough, HRP. Seven Is Lucky came out of the gate seventh and then laid sixth into the stretch when the seven-year-old deep closer turned on the afterburners and breezed to a three-quarter length victory.

2nd      Brit Style                       Lemax Farms                6-1 (HRP) 5-2 (SRF)

Brit Style changed the deep closing style that cost him the Shoemaker Mile and ran this race as a stalker never farther back than fifth nor more than a length off the lead with a strong finish that couldn’t withstand the winner.

3rd     Whoa Bo                     Maxmillion Farm                    10-1 (HRP) 5-1 (SRF)

Whoa Bo’s deep close almost worked as he started sixth, was seventh coming into the stretch and challenged the winner to the wire but could not make up the ground between them.

4th      Ello Santa                           Mb Stables           *3-1(HRP) *8-5(SRF)

Ello Santa , class of the field, favourite, ran a challenging race throughout but just couldn’t manage better than the photo for second.
