Three Year Olds Fillies

Only a small field of six has been entered for this years running of the Winter Memories over the inner turf course here at Aqueduct. Small field so quick overlook of the runners so let’s look at them.

1. Textes From My Exes (16-4-1-1 $165.380), trained by Night Rider Stables

First up the New York bred here and she is coming into this race off of a win in a stakes race at Santa Anita. Although a small stake not much off of a difference in this race and she should be tough in here.

2. Great Cobra (4-2-0-1 $18.900), trained by Greeko Holdem

Lightly raced filly here and she has only ever ran five furlongs in her career so far. Questionable on the class rise here and also at the distance so not sure how she is going to fair with this bunch.

3. Naughtygirlsneedlove (9-1-2-1 $106.130), trained by Big Jd Racing

Likely pacesetter here as she has been going to the lead early in her last couple of starts. If she goes early and gets an easy lead with some soft fractions she could take them all the way.

4. Autumn Beauty (8-4-3-0 $127.020), trained by Smokey Stover

Back to a class level she will appreciate here as she tried the grade one First Lady last time and was beat rather easily. But at this level she will have a great chance and should be one of the favorites.

5. Diva Delite (10-5-2-1 $241.880), trained by D J C Racing Stables

A last winner against statebred stakes runners here and she ran a very good race that day. She has been running well all year when at the right level so I do think she is the horse to beat in this race.

6. Ashen Angel (10-4-1-2 $117.340), trained by Ezzz Racing

An impressive winner of the Virginia Oaks in front running style last time but she had an easy lead and never was close to the rest. I do think she has a great chance but she won’t get an easy lead like last time so she should have to go quicker early.

Summary

Although only six in this field it is a pretty evenly matched bunch with no standout at all. My top pick is the five horse with a close second choice as number six. Good luck to all in the field.
