Tenrikyo Takes Them Gate to Wire in The Beldame

The Beldame – GII (P4)
9/28/19
BEL Race 7 1 1/8M – Dirt
Purse $300.000
Three Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares

1st Tenrikyo, trained by Smokey Stover

Well the Kentucky Oaks winner finally got back into form in here as she took this field gate to wire. She broke sharp and went straight to the lead and the pace was actually very solid for this distance. She ran the race in 1:47.95 and earned $180.000 for the win.

2nd Seek Victory, trained by Mb Stables

A pretty good run from this filly here and she bounced back off of a bad race in her last start. She was in the middle of the field early on and then she tried to run down the winner but that just was not going to happen. She still held on for second and finished good.

3rd Book Of Aggravation, trained by Estero Farms

This filly here also ran a pretty good race as she held on for third after being up near the pace early. She was right behind the leader during the earl stages of the race and she got a little bit tired late and barely got beat for second. She ran a good race though.

4th Ghost In The Shell, trained by Spankys Barn

Not the race I was expecting from this filly as she seemed a little flat in here. She may have not fired off of her two big wins but she did at least hit the board in here. She will get a good rest before the Breeders Cup though and maybe she will fire in there.

Summary

Well it was about time that Tenrikyo finally got back to her winning ways. She switched up tactics in here and bounced along to the lead and she was going pretty quick actually. She ran a very good race to get the win. Congratulations to Tenrikyo and Smokey Stover.
