Well i must admit this one surprised me a bit with the ease she won this race but it was certainly good to see her back to her best after a rather mystifying poor run through February and March. If it is possible for these digital horses to lose confidence then it seems that could be what happened because after those two poor efforts in the Davona Dale and the GP Oaks because since she went back to allowance company in April she has found a new lease of life. Traveling in a nice spot behind the leaders she picked them up easily to stride home by an unchallenged two lengths. She should be in a good position to be a force in the three’s and up races now on her way to a hopeful Distaff run.

Having only her fifth career start she ran another cracker but she needs to get out of this habit of no early pace. Just like in the Acorn she gave herself way too much to do and actually ran really well to get second in the end after being last for a majority of the trip. Given some time i feel that this could be a nice horse and justify the $400 that her trainer forked out for her.

3rd         Intolerable         Mb Stables        Talamo J

Went on the speed early and pulled her way to the front but could find nothing in the end and was caught for second close home. This just goes to show how important the transit and pace a horse gets at HRP because she found plenty at the end of the Summertime Oaks last time in the same race time and though this time the early pace was slower she couldn’t find the same at the end of this race. Still the one thing she is is consistency personified and she again found a pay check which keeps her remarkable record going.

Stalked the lead from a wide gate and the inevitable happened in the end as she weakened out of the top three. It may well be that this horse is better over a sprint trip so weakening may well have been more that than the wide gate but at the end she still has a future with a bit more luck.
