There’s plenty of promise shown in the Generous Portion

1st Moemuras Promise, trained by Royalty Racing

Make no mistake this is a very nice filly and coming out of an easy gate onto the speed saw her keep on too well to win by just under a length. She was tiring a bit close home but as her last race was just 19 days ago she may have been feeling it a bit in the stretch. Put her on your watch list for the juvenile sprints this year.

2nd Pink Stars, Team 7 Illusions

Having bred the winner the trainer of Pink Stars will not be too upset at this strong finishing second. A daughter of Pink Panther she looks to be screaming out for a little extra track and must be looked at carefully if she gets it next time out.

3rd Angry Curator, trained by Sarah Stables

Another who hit the line hard and another who should be watched carefully when upped in trip. Her canny trainer won’t be overdoing this big filly but I would be watching out for her if taken back to this grade next up.

3rd Freedom Flying, trained by Mb Stables

I was always worried about the draw killing this one’s chances and that seems to be what happened as she burnt out to a lead early before being collared to the stretch and then just keeping on for a share of third.

5th Eshreal

I thought this filly would get close to the winner and when you look at her last race it is a wonder she didn’t. She ran pretty much the same pace as her last win on this track but weakened today. A little random when compared to the winner but seemingly not as good.

6th Above Storage

Kept on but never looked like being involved.

7th Morgan Le Fay

Last time out she was restrained and won the Debutante going away by a length stopping the clock in the same time today’s race was won in. Today she raced on the pace and weakened into last place. Make your own minds up as to why.
