–Ana Ana Ana from Maxmillion Farm was our top pick during the race preview and won with a trip we had luckily foreseen for our audience. “Ana” took back and weaved a passage through, taking over just in the nick of time. Congrats to the winning connections who are now looking for the stakes hat trick. Four year old Mistborn from Mb Stables did his connections well in grabbing the silver medal here against some salty customers and looks to be on the improve. Evil Lives Here from DJC Racing Stables followed up his big run in Arcadia with another solid showing in rounding out the trifecta and has become what looks like a solid claim for the connections. Buffalo G from Nakamura Stables continues to throw down hard at age nine and missed third today by the slimmest of margins in yet another good run.

Of The Rest;

Lev By The Minute from Rock Creek ran a better than looked race today when you consider that he is a three year old. He should be set now for a money run if he finds some easier confines. He was game in dead-heating for fifth instead of throwing in the towel late.

Moonligtonthewabash from High Voltage had a tough post and trip today, so the effort can probably be excused more than a little bit. He did well to battle on and dead-heat for fifth place in an obvious better than looked performance.

Neon Town from John Henry received a decent enough amount of support at the windows, came out with some intention but then slowly backed out of it and had little left for the drive.

Nationalist from TwinTowers Racing went off at a big price and unfortunately ran like it, never able to surge forward from the back.

Last Way To The Beac, also from Maxmillion Farm went off as the favorite but the victory spoils went to his stablemate. “Beac” was only able to muster a dead-heat finish for ninth place on the day.

Atomic Eclipse from Invicta Group Llc fell back and was unable to produce a rally anywhere close to his best. He showed slight interest in dead-heating for ninth place with the race favorite, but I don’t imagine the effort was what the barn was hoping for off the purchase.

Zed Zamboni from Pan Farms had a reume coming into this that made it look like this was going to be a tough day and unfortunately the resume didn’t get much improvement from the effort as he ran last.
