The Road to Louisville takes another step forward and we look at the field for the Sham Stakes (GIII), a flat mile test for the sophomores and it’s an interesting group, to say the least.  We get a pair of fillies, and we know how that is already playing out… and they both come from sharp barns so you have to give them a big look.  I landed on Pink Shark for this one.  He just missed in the KY Jockey Club (GII) back in Nov and makes his first start of the ’23 season.  I think this is a horse that has to be watched as this march continues… he was fifth in the BC Juv Turf (GI) but I think the main track is his calling.  Ben Nevis is another that was fifth on BC Day, on the main track, and I’ll give him a serious look for this one as well.  He ran bad at AQU in his return, but it was rainy and I’ll write that off to the wet track.
