Very Good Field for The Personal Ensign

                    The Personal Ensign- GI [BC]
                       SAR Race 7 1 1/8M- Dirt
                              Purse $700.000
Three Year Olds and Up Fillies and Mares

Almost a full gate will be ready to rock and roll for this race as there is thirteen fillies and mares that will be in the starting gate for this Breeders Cup win and you’re in race for the Breeders Cup Distaff. Its look like a very competitive field for sure and there is some really good horses in this race.

1. Dirty Deeds (27-10-5-3 $2,231.060), trained by Aer Stables

A multiple grade one winner coming out of the Aer Stables barn and she has been in with some of the best fillies and mares in the game and has beaten most of them one time or another. She is one of the top dogs in here and she will be tough for sure but she’ll have to run a big race to win.

2. Queenwood (20-9-2-2 $1,466.190), trained by Smokey Stover

Another grade one winning filly in the field right here she won the grade one Acorn at Belmont last year as a three year old. She also ran second by a nose in the Beholder Mile this year at Santa Anita and that was pretty much a winning race. She has a decent shot to win so she wouldn’t surprise me at all.

3. Indian River Queen (13-2-4-3 $263.320), trained by South Beach Racing

Here is a three year old filly in the race and she is coming off of a nose defeat in the grade one CCA Oaks over this same course and distance. She ran very good that day and ran a winning race for sure and was just unlucky to get the win. She has a little chance to win if she runs like she did that day.

4. Sports Creek (13-4-3-0 $424.340), trained by Estero Farms

Another three year old in the field here this filly is coming off of a front running win in the grade three Delaware Oaks last time. That might be a breakthrough race for her and maybe she will get the ball rolling now in some other big races. She is going to have to run a huge race to get thr job done.

5. Misscsrlet (16-3-3-1 $149.090), trained by Broken Spoke Stables

Another graded stakes winner in the field but this filly is coming off of a very bad performance in the grade two Delaware Handicap. I mean she got beat seven lengths that day after some good races before that so maybe it just wasn’t her day but it’s not a good sign so I’m out on her in here.

6. Had Some Drinks (8-4-1-2 $234.750), trained by Mb Stables

The first of the two entries from Mb Stables is coming off of a grade three win in the Shuvee Handicap where she won over this same surface and going the same distance. She won in front running fashion that day but I don’t think that will work in this race. She will have to run the race if her life.

7. Whispering Nurse (17-9-6-2 $2,595.780), trained by D J C Racing Stables

One of the other big gunners in the race is this great filly from the barn of the wizard D J C Racing Stables. She is coming off of two grade one victories in a row against a lot of these. She is a very good filly and is making case for a favorite in this years Breeders Cup Distaff. She is my top pick.

8. Nice Tactical Speed (7-3-0-0 $201.490), trained by Maxmillion Farm

Another three year old filly in the race this one is coming off of a win in the grade three Indians Oaks. She won by a nose that day and ran the best race in her career to this point on that day. Maybe that race will move her forward quite a bit but I don’t think it’ll move her up enough to win.

9. On The Square (11-4-1-2 $308.080), trained by Crocker Ggs

Once again we come across a three year old in the race and this one is coming off of a win in the grade three Ontario Matron up in Canada at Woodbine. She rebounded off of a bad performance in the grade one Acorn the race before that. I don’t really see her winning in her though.

10. Enoughs Enough (8-5-0-0 $536.400), trained by Mb Stables

The second entry from Mb Stables is also a three year old but this one is coming off of a win in the grade one Hirsch. That was her second win in a row and now she is shipping to the east coast to try and win three in a row and her second grade one. She has a good shot to get the money.

11. Jinxed Queen (10-7-0-1 $535.900), trained by Gdp Inc

Here is another grade one winner in the field and she is coming off of a win in the grade one CCA Oaks. She won by a nose that day over Indian River Queen. She has a decent chance if she runs like she did that day for sure. She will have to repeat that performance though to have any chance.

12. Fit To Be Tied (12-3-4-0 $101.850), trained by TwinTowers Racing

This filly is coming off of a fifth place finish in the Delaware Handicap last out where she only got beat two lengths for the whole thing. I don’t really see her as a horse that will win the race but maybe she has a chance to run about third or fourth is she really runs a big race. She looks outmatched though.

13. Osmium (16-7-1-4 $1,068.380), trained by D J C Racing Stables

The second entry from D J C Racing Stables is this filly right here who is coming off of a win in the grade two Delaware Handicap last out. She best a couple of these other rivals but she is up against with this outside draw and the short run to the first run. She has a chance but she’ll have to run huge.

Summary

Well this is a pretty outstanding field that had assembled for this race with some of the best fillies and mares in the game entered in here. Some of the big guns are Dirty Deeds and Whispering Nurse and they look like the best two in the field to me. Good luck to everyone in the field.
