At least we both picked the winner in this one…. after that, our choices were putrid.  When the dirt clods settled in the Appalachian (GII), La Canada Racehorses‘ Wild Water Wagon closed well from mid-pack to get up for the win, scoring by a quarter length while stopping the clock at 1:33.17 for the flat mile.  The lush KEE turf was listed as firm.  The 3yo bay filly was never far from the front end and just basically wore down this group for the win.  It was her fourth victory from eight starts, her first win of the ’26 season, her first since taking the BC Juv Fillies Turf (GI), and she now shows earnings of $1,154.460.  Congrats to the Connections!

Jump Into Action, from the Diablo Diablo outfit, also stalked the pace and made a late bit, just missing to the eventual winner in a game effort.  It was another length back to Missing Dress, trained by Our Athletes, in third, while Mb Stables’ Mini Mulite had every chance, but got a bit weary late while taking the minor share of the purse.  Only four lengths covered the field of ten, and there were no scratches.
