She may be a freak indeed!  YME Stable’s Shes A Super Freak tracked the pace throughout Saturday’s The Davona Dale Stakes (GII) and just kept on going to score by a length to keep her 21 season perfect.  The winning margin was a length and the final time of 1:35.13 was just a few ticks off of the stakes record.  Post time favorite Feral Impact was second, three quarters of a length in front of the hard closing Carrie Ann, and the same distance back to pace-setter Grazin At Sunrise, tiring to be fourth. There were only six lengths separating the field of twelve.

Shes A Super Freak broke alertly, never far from the pace setter, battled through the lane, won driving.  Feral Impact was forwardly placed throughout, game to the wire, ceded late.  Carrie Ann away towards the back, rated, responded when asked, good late effort.  Grazin At Sunrise broke fastest of all, set the pace to the furlong marker, headed, tired. Big Challenge raced evenly, no threat.  Break From Holly flashed early speed, taken back, one pace.  Insist On Big Bad broke a step slow, trailed, passed tiring rivals late.  Ma Party raced mid-pack, just behind the leader info the turn, tired. Red Parasite was outrun. Not A Big Deal was never involved.
