Attorney General Wins The Franklin Square

The Franklin Square – NG
AQU Race 2 6F – Dirt
Purse $100.000
Three Year Olds Fillies NY Breds

1st Attorney General, trained by Mb Stables

Well this filly really made a splash in this race and it was her first ever career race on the pay side and also her first ever race against stakes company. She ran a very good race and Mb Stables obviously saw something in her nobody else did. She ran the race in 1:09.56 and earned $60.000 for her win.

2nd Lead You To Water, trained by Fractious

This filly here also ran a pretty good race after pretty much being on the lead for most of the way. She didn’t go straight to the lead but ended up there early on and tried to take them all the way but she couldn’t hold off the winner. She still ran a pretty good second though.

3rd Maggie McGee, trained by D J C Racing Stables

Now this filly here also ran a good race but she just needed more ground because she was closing from the back of the field in here. She sat next to last early on and then made a nice charge down the lane to only get beat by a length in the end. I think she just needed more ground in this spot.

4th Unprecedented, trained by Smokey Stover

And now to the fourth place finisher who also did not run that bad of a race as she only ended getting beat a total of a length also. She didn’t run that bad of a race after sitting midpack early on and coming with an alright run late but it just wasn’t enough to get up for the win.

Summary

Well this was pretty exciting race and it was a big win for Attorney General in her first ever pay race and her first ever stakes race. She ran a big race for her new trainer Mb Stables and she might be pointed to a little tougher spot now that she has won this race. Congratulations to Attorney General and Mb Stables.
